Gwinnett County, GA (Dec. 26, 2025) — The Gwinnett Chamber Foundation has received a $2,500 contribution from Lawrenceville Coca-Cola United, reinforcing a shared commitment to accelerating small business growth and strengthening Gwinnett County’s business ecosystem.
The contribution was presented by Alton Rutledge, Sales Center Manager at Lawrenceville Coca-Cola United, to Deirdra Cox, Executive Director of the Gwinnett Chamber Foundation. Members of Lawrenceville Coca-Cola United’s local team and several members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors participated in the presentation ceremony at the Gwinnett Chamber.
In addition to the financial contribution, Lawrenceville Coca-Cola United gifted three of their iconic stuffed polar bears that the Foundation has appropriately named named Prosperity, Catalyst, and Legacy. Displayed in the Gwinnett Chamber Community Room, the bears serve as a visual reminder of the role corporate stewardship plays in advancing opportunity and long-term impact for Gwinnett’s business community.
“Lawrenceville Coca-Cola United believes strong communities are built by supporting the businesses that drive local economies,” said Rutledge. “The Gwinnett Chamber Foundation provides meaningful access to education and resources that help businesses grow, and we are proud to support such an intentional mission that promotes economic growth.”
The Gwinnett Chamber Foundation focuses on expanding access to education, resources, and practical tools that help small businesses grow and scale. Through partnerships with corporate leaders, municipalities, and community stakeholders, the Foundation equips entrepreneurs and employers with the knowledge and support necessary to thrive in Gwinnett’s business ecosystem.
“Support from partners like Lawrenceville Coca-Cola United allows us to deliver programs that are practical, relevant, and responsive to the needs of today’s businesses,” Cox said. “This investment helps us continue our work of accelerating small businesses and strengthening the broader economic foundation of Gwinnett County.”
Looking ahead, the Foundation will kick off the new year by continuing its partnership with the City of Suwanee through the next installment of Mind Your Business, an education series designed to provide actionable insights for local companies.
