Small Business Impact Institute Accelerator Course

The GCF Small Business Institute invites applications for the 2025 “Accelerator” course, designed to support small businesses in Gwinnett County with high growth potential.

This advanced program is specifically tailored for:

  • Small businesses with MBE, WOSB, VOSB, DBE, or 8(a) certification.
  • Businesses operating in Gwinnett County.
  • Businesses generating minimum of $300,000 in gross annual revenue.
  • Businesses with a minimum of 4 years of operational history.
  • Certified businesses looking to leverage their certification for growth.

Program Details

Program Duration:
11 months (February 4th 2025 – November 11th, 2025) with graduation in December 2025.

Investment:

  • $375 for Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce members.
  • $500 for non-members.

Attendance Requirements:

  • Attendance at all scheduled courses and coaching sessions.
  • Completion of all assignments and projects on the designated portal.
  • Participation in cohort photo shoots and promotional events.

Advanced Best Business Practices Covered:

  1. Developing a Strong Capability Statement: Create a professional, concise document that highlights your business’s unique value, key qualifications, and past performance.
  2. Mastering Proposal Writing and Compliance: Learn to craft competitive, compelling, and compliant bids that meet all requirements and specifications.
  3. Building Operational Excellence: Establish efficient internal processes, including quality assurance, inventory management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  4. Financial Readiness and Management: Maintain accurate financial records, cash flow, and creditworthiness to manage and execute contracts effectively.
  5. Fostering Relationships and Networking: Build and nurture relationships with key procurement officers, prime contractors, and industry influencers.
