DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Chamber Foundation (GCF) has announced the winners of its inaugural Small Business Impact Institute (SBII) Pitch Competition, recognizing five entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and strategic vision for long-term business growth. Winners included ASL Mechanical – Mohamed Zouari, Building Ideas Remodeling – Lizbeth and David Contreras, Gaddiel Home Care Services, Inc. – Josephine Apuri-Ndepeh, Intellicomm Services – Latoya Cutliff, and Veracity Asset Solutions, LLC – Candace Devaney.
“These entrepreneurs represent exactly why the Small Business Impact Institute exists,” said Deirdra Cox, Executive Director of the Gwinnett Chamber Foundation. “By supporting their continued development through supply chain certifications and ongoing programming, we are helping build businesses that are better prepared to create jobs, compete for new opportunities, and contribute to the long-term economic strength of Gwinnett and the metro Atlanta region.”
Small businesses account for approximately 99% of all employers across Georgia, making their development and success an essential driver to statewide economic growth. As a result of their presentations, these winning businesses will receive a sponsored supply chain certification through the Gwinnett Chamber Foundation, equipping them with an important credential that enhances their competitiveness.

The Pitch Competition represents one step in the Foundation’s broader strategy to accelerate businesses that are procurement-ready, operationally sound, and positioned for long-term success. GCF will continue to support small business with Rock the Range, a signature fundraising event happening on September 24 at Lanier Islands’ all-new Night Golf attraction. The event will introduce entrepreneurs and business leaders to golf as a relationship-building and business development tool while creating opportunities to connect with corporate partners, community leaders, and fellow business owners.
